A T-shirt featuring the traditional Japanese technique of kintsugi embroidery on the undercollar and sleeves.
Kintsugi is a traditional Japanese technique in which broken pottery is repaired by highlighting the cracks with gold powder or gold leaf, turning the damage into a form of artistic expression. Its history dates back to 15th-century Japan.
Throughout its long history, kintsugi has been appreciated not only as a method of repair but also as an art form in its own right.
Today, designs inspired by kintsugi can be found in a wide variety of items. At Plus Talk, we have created a T-shirt design that expresses the beauty of kintsugi through delicate embroidery using gold threads.
